NOTICE FOR INTERNATIONAL TEAMS
This registration notice applies only to universities and colleges in Korea.
Teams from institutions outside Korea wishing to participate in the Seoul Regional Contest should refer to additional information posted after October 11th.

  • 팀 등록은 9월 8일 (월) 09:00 KST부터 9월 23일 (화) 17:00 KST까지입니다.
  • 문의사항이 있을 경우 홈페이지(https://seoul2025.icpckorea.org)의 FAQ를 확인해 주세요.
    • 추가 문의는 홈페이지의 [1:1 문의] 혹은 메일(acmicpc [at] icpckorea.org)을 통해 가능합니다.
  • 아래 과정을 순서대로 모두 마치면 등록이 완료됩니다.

1. ICPC Global 본부 사이트 개인정보 등록

  • 이 단계는 참가자 학생 모두가 각자 직접 진행합니다.
  • ICPC Global 본부 사이트(icpc.global)에 가입되지 않은 경우 먼저 가입해야 합니다.
  • 참가자들은 각자 본부 사이트에 로그인하고, Profile 메뉴에 개인 정보를 입력해야 합니다.
    • 이름, 명찰 이름 등 *로 표시된 필수 정보
    • 학위, 연락처 등 *로 표시된 필수 정보
    • 등록 방법에 대한 가이드라인 영상이 있습니다. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7O3j5Vb_Qtg)
  • 여기까지 완료된 팀은 코치 교수님께 팀 등록을 요청합니다.

2. 팀 만들기

  • 이 단계는 코치교수가 진행합니다. 참가자 학생이 직접 팀을 만들지 않도록 주의해주십시오.
  • ICPC Global의 대회 페이지(https://icpc.global/regionals/finder/Seoul-First-Round)에서 팀을 등록합니다. (9월 8일 12:00에 오픈됩니다.)
    • 혹은 Create Team 내에서 아래와 같이 Site를 선택합니다.
      • Region: Asia Pacific
      • Site: The 2026 ICPC Asia Pacific Championship > The 2025 ICPC Asia Seoul Regional Onsite Contest > The 2025 ICPC Asia Korea National First Round Programming Contest > Asia Seoul National First Round Programming Contest
  • 모든 정보를 빠짐없이 입력해야 팀이 등록됩니다.
  • 팀을 만든 사람이 자동으로 팀 지도교수(coach)로 등록됩니다.

팀명 규정

  • 팀명은 3-24자의 영어 대소문자, 숫자, 공백으로 구성되어야 합니다. 그 외의 팀명은 모두 거절됩니다.
  • 팀명은 공백으로 시작하거나 끝날 수 없습니다.
  • 소속 학교명이나 그 축약어를 넣지 말아 주십시오. 대회에서는 소속 학교명과 등록한 팀이름이 함께 표시됩니다.
  • 부적절한 팀명은 등록이 거절될 수 있습니다. 상장, 스코어보드 등에 팀명이 사용되므로 신중히 결정 바랍니다.

3. 서약서 작성

  • ICPC Global 본부 사이트에 팀이 등록된 것을 확인한 후, 팀 대표(참가자 학생 중 1인)가 서약서를 작성합니다. (추가 서류가 있는 경우 함께 제출합니다.) 서약서는 팀당 1번만 제출해도 충분합니다.
  • Regional 참가 자격(decision tree, 예외 조항)을 검토하여 참가 서약(링크: https://seoul2025.icpckorea.org)을 합니다.
    • 본선인 Regional 참가 자격이 불충분한 경우도 예선에는 참여가 가능합니다.
    • 그러나 예선 통과 후 본선 진출을 위해서는 참가 자격을 충족하여 질문에 모두 “예”로 대답한 경우에만 가능합니다.

4. 등록 확인

  • 팀 등록 및 서약서 작성을 완료한 팀은 운영측 최종 확인을 거칩니다. 확인이 완료되면 ICPC Global 본부 사이트에서 Accepted 상태가 됩니다.
  • 순차적으로 확인하여 Accepted 상태로 진행하고, 등록이 불가한 결격사유가 있는 경우 코치 혹은 팀의 대표에게 안내될 예정입니다.
  • 팀이 Pending 상태에 계류되어 있어도 별도의 연락을 받기 전까지는 문제가 없는 것이니 기다려 주십시오.

  • Team registration starts on Sep. 8th (Mon), 09:00 KST and ends on Sep. 23th (Thu.), 17:00 KST.
  • Please check FAQs in the application page if you have any questions.

  • You should complete all steps below in order.

1. Register & Update Profiles

  • Each participant should register themselves before the coach registers the team.
  • Please sign up at ICPC Global website (icpc.global) if you are participating for the first time.
  • Each participant should sign in to ICPC Global website and fill in their profiles, including:
    • Name, Badge Name, and other required information that are marked with *
    • Degrees and contact information marked with *

  • After all participants registered themselves, please contact your coach to have your team registered.

2. Registering Team

  • Your coach will register your team on your behalf. Please refrain from registering your team as a participant.
  • Register the team in ICPC Global contest page: https://icpc.global/regionals/finder/Seoul-First-Round). The form will be opened from 2025 Sep. 8th, 12:00 PM KST.
    • Either, you may create teams by choosing the competing site first.
      • Region: Asia Pacific
      • Site: The 2026 ICPC Asia Pacific Championship > The 2025 ICPC Asia Seoul Regional Onsite Contest > The 2025 ICPC Asia Korea National First Round Programming Contest > Asia Seoul National First Round Programming Contest
  • Please fill out all form sections; otherwise your team will not be accepted.
  • You will be assigned the coach of the team when you register one.

Rules and Restrictions for Team Names

  • Your team name should be 3-24 characters long and comprise of English alphabets, numbers and spaces. Team names cannot start or end with space. Team names not satisfying these restrictions will be REJECTED.
  • Please refrain from including your institution name or its abbreviation. Institution names will officially be displayed alongside team names.
  • Offensive or inappropriate team names will be REJECTED at our discretion. Please choose your team name wisely as it will be used in awards, scoreboards, etc.

3. Honor Code & Application

  • After you have confirmed that your team is registered on ICPC Global website, your team representative (participant) should now sign the honor code (and submit additional documents if needed) for final application in this link (https://seoul2025.icpckorea.org). One submission per team is sufficient.
  • Before filling out the pre-contest checklist, please review the eligibility for Seoul Regional Contest (decision tree and exceptions).
    • Note that you can participate in First Round (preliminary) contest (October 11th) even if you are not eligible for Seoul Regional Contest (November 22nd).
    • However, you can only proceed to Seoul Regional Contest if you are eligible and have marked “Yes” to all questions in the pre-contest checklist.

4. Confirming Registration

  • After reviewing your registration and honor code application, we will accept your team, after which your team will shown Accepted on ICPC Global website.
  • Teams will be reviewed individually in order, and if there are any problems regarding your registration or application, the team coach or representative will be contacted.
  • If your team shows up as pending for some time but you have not been contacted otherwise, there is no need for concern; please wait patiently.
